Our Allosaurus was
discovered in Carnegie Quarry in 1922. Sixteen years later, in 1938,
scientists mounted the specimen into its the tail-dragging pose that was considered scientifically accurate at that the time.
In 2005, Allosaurus was disarticulated and remounted in a pose that scientists now know to be the correct one. Allosaurus was
the first specimen to undergo a Dinosaurs in Their Time renovation.
