Scheduling a Visit

Carnegie Museum of Natural History policy stipulates that visitors are allowed in the collections only when a member of the Mineral Section is present, and thus you must arrange visits in advance. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please call 412.622.3391 or email wilsonm@carnegiemnh.org to schedule an appointment.

The mineral collections are available for examination or study, onsite or by loan, by qualified persons. Prior arrangements must be made by contacting the Section of Minerals staff. Click here for general policies regarding loans and use of collections.
