For eight years,
Carnegie Museum of Natural History has hosted one of the world’s
most outstanding shows of gems and minerals. Now, the Carnegie Gem
& Mineral Show can also claim the honor of being named Pittsburgh Post-Gazette‘s and Pittsburgh Tribune Review's Top Party for three years running! Don’t
miss the chance to be a part of this year's event, Sea of Pearls.
This
special fundraising pre-show event opens the floor to discriminating
buyers. More than three dozen vendors with specimens from famous
mines and worldwide locations, as well as displays by award-winning
jewelry designers, will fill the elegant halls of the Oakland museums.
Be the first to see the spectacular gems and minerals from some
of the world's most prestigious retailers.
The Carnegie
Gem & Mineral Show is held in the most stunning halls of the
museum. The towering Hall of Architecture will feature vendors offering gems, jewelry, and minerals
amidst massive reproductions of architectural details from famous
European sites. The Carnegie Music Hall Foyer is an exquisite setting for vendors and exhibitions. Vendors of minerals, gems and fine jewelry from
around the world will be situated in Sculpture Hall among the pillars of a reproduction of the Parthenon, and will line
the beautiful Carriage Drive Entrance of the Natural History
Museum, all the way through Scaife Foyer in Carnegie Museum
of Art. And of course, the famous Hillman Hall of Gems &
Minerals will anchor the show.
